Who among us, as a little kid, did not want to travel the world? To set sail on the high seas, meet the native tribes of America or cross the desert. Conquer the world and never look back, just like Bolek and Lolek.

Their adventures drew us to our TV sets, inspired us to play in the yard and educated future young travellers.

Perhaps that is why we are eager to return to the Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała.

The main attraction is an interactive multimedia exhibition. Here, you will learn, among other things, how stop-motion animations were created in the past – from the first line to character design – how sounds were recorded using random objects, and how colours were selected. You can create your own animation and use multimedia. Those who are interested can take part in regular workshops.

On the ground floor of the Animated Film Studio, there is an arthouse cinema where animated films for both children and adults are regularly screened. Here, you can watch classic animated tales, special screenings, and educational programmes.

It is a great place for families with children.
